Invisionfree is one of the bigger free forum hosts. The website has over 600 000 boards and has boards that date back to 2002.
As far as I can tell not many people use it nowadays compared to before, probably because other free forum hosts use better forum software like phpBB that has better layout and looks better. The copyright notice on zIFBoards.com, which Invisionfree.com redirects to, has not been updated since 2014.
