Mega is a cloud storage and file hosting website, created by MegaUpload founder Kim Dotcom.
Vital signs
About as cloudy as any other file locker (see MegaUpload, RapidShare, etc.)
Additionally, Mega uses in-browser JavaScript encryption to hide file contents from the hosting server, which makes automated archiving extremely difficult. As of April 2015, any type of archiving has to done either manually or through Mega's API.
