Github mirrors

There are some albeit sketchy github mirrors that sometimes make available READMEs, Issues, metadata, etc of potentially deleted repositories. Some of these hosts are deceased, and others pop-up as frequently as others die. Nonetheless, pages from deceased hosts are sometimes archived in the Wayback Machine, which still makes this list of hosts yet another possible source to recover content. --Ufarwisan (talk) 20:24, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

I'll warn you that I haven't confirmed if these sites don't simply proxy your requests to github, which would disappointingly mean they're not serving deleted content. Again though, Wayback Machine snapshots of these hosts can contain deleted content not found anywhere else.

This one has more clear intentions, making github wikis show up in search engines. As a result, Wayback Machine snapshots or google cache for a page under that host can be the last remaining copies of that page. --Ufarwisan (talk) 20:25, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
