Somewhere deep in the months-long process of uploading the Geocities torrent from the seeding machine, a disk failure happened and a corruption occurred. A (relatively) small number of files were corrupted, meaning that the torrent wouldn't be able to complete. ''Note: The original data was not lost, just the compressed files.'' In total, this was less than 300mb of files, but one of them was part of a much larger fileset (E-n, roughly 5gb in total), which until we've tested just swapping out the file, should be assume to be non-functional. | |||

THE GEOCITIES TORRENT PATCH
Somewhere deep in the months-long process of uploading the Geocities torrent from the seeding machine, a disk failure happened and a corruption occurred. A (relatively) small number of files were corrupted, meaning that the torrent wouldn't be able to complete. Note: The original data was not lost, just the compressed files. In total, this was less than 300mb of files, but one of them was part of a much larger fileset (E-n, roughly 5gb in total), which until we've tested just swapping out the file, should be assume to be non-functional.
A new set of files are being compressed to replace these broken files, and are currently being hosted here.
