I'm going to create a list which will be a bit better to keep track of.

New page setup

I was thinking of a new page setup for the Projects page. It would have a few parts: High Risk, Risk, Low Risk, Important.

This is how the a part of the High Risk part of the page would look like:

Website Closing date Project status User Archiving Status Details Archives
AOL Music 2013-??-?? Closing In progress...
Fileplanet 2013-??-?? Closing Saved! Saved only files 00000-229999 Fileplanet#Status
Google Video (Archive) 2011-04-29 Closing In progress...

I think you can more easily see what is being downloaded by this and who is downloading it.

What do you think of it?

I like it! Thanks for doing this! It occurs to me that it might be nice to have a section for completed projects too, with an Internet Archive link for each thing (in addition to other mirrors). The Archives page seems to be incomplete, and a several of the links I've tried to download are dead. Kyan 17:18, 14 December 2013 (EST)

Gopherspace archival

As reported on boingboing by Cory Doctorow, all of Gopherspace - scraped in 2007 - needs an archive home. Anybody have 15GB of spare hosted-server space for this project?

I do, please contact me at admin@emuwiki.com to tell me what to do. EmuWikiAdmin 15:17, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

They are added to iBiblio http://torrent.ibiblio.org/search.php?query=gopher&submit=search Emijrp 11:34, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

It was added to Internet Archive by Jason too http://www.archive.org/details/2007-gopher-mirror Emijrp 19:23, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

I'm moving this off of the front page, because I'm not sure where it belongs. I'll get back to this later, and probably make a nice clean entry for it. Spiralofhope 04:08, 2 June 2014 (EDT)
